【考点一】对时间状语从句的考查
（1） when,while,as 三者都意为“当……的时候”,when 最常用,由其引导的状语从句中谓语动词可以是延续性动词,也可以是非延续性动词；while 从句中的谓语动词只能是延续性动词；as引导的从句中表示的动作常与主句表示的动作同时发生.中考主要考查前二者的区别.
（2）如果主句的谓语动词是一般将来时,时间状语从句中的谓语动词用一般现在时表示将来时间；如果主句谓语动词为过去将来时,则从句谓语动词用一般过去时.
（3）until／till意为 “ 到……为止”.表示动作结束；而 not …until／till 则意为“直到……才……”, 表示动作开始.
（4）since意为“自从……”； as soon as 意为“一 …… 就 ……”.

【考点二】对条件状语从句的考查
（1）条件状语从句常由if,unless,as／so long as 等从属连词引导.主句的谓语动词是一般将来时,从句的谓语动词应用一般现在时表示将来要发生的动作或存在的状态.
（2）不要将if引导的条件状语从句与由其引导的宾语从句混淆,也不能用 whether来替换if.
（3）含有if 条件状语从句的主从复合句可以替换为：祈使句 + and／then／or＋分句 （通常用将来时）.

【考点三】对原因状语从句的考查
（1） because,as,since 都有“因为”之意,其中 because表示直接原因,语气很强,常用来回答以 why提问的特殊疑问句；since表示推断的原因,语气较弱,一般译为“ 既然” ；as表示暗示的原因,语气较弱,常位于主句的前面.中考一般以考查 because 为主.
（2）和汉语的用法习惯不同,在英语中不能将 because,since或as与so用在同一个句子中.
